3. Coherence

“Irish Aid will ensure coherence between our support for civil society organisations and other development assistance programmes, in particular in Irish Aid programme countries. We will encourage consultation and dialogue between civil society partners and Irish Aid at country level to promote coherence and identify synergies.” (Irish Aid Civil Society Policy, pg. 10)

SERVE are committed to working with partners whose development initiatives are coherently aligned to local, regional and national government plans.

SERVE also works to ensure a high level of information sharing and lesson learning between each of our partners. An important part of our development approach is to organise shared learning events involving our partners.
